Abduction of Daughter
While visiting his daughter on Sunday, July 27, under court-mandated supervision, Clark Rockefeller allegedly shoved the social worker, took Reigh and fled. Initially, an Amber Alert had been issued for the missing girl but was soon called off. It was believed the father and daughter had traveled from Boston to New York, where it is state policy not to issue an alert if a child has been kidnapped by a parent.Boston Herald: Kidnap case turns to NY and boat (July 28, 2008) From New York City's Grand Central Station, the pair reportedly took a train to Baltimore, where Rockefeller was apprehended on August 2.
