  • Clarence Clemons is a saxophone player known to many as "The Big Man." Clemons has been a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band for nearly three decades. Clemons has also enjoyed a successful career apart from Springsteen, having played with musicians such as Jackson Browne, The Grateful Dead, Paul Young, Roy Orbison and Aretha Franklin.http://www.clarenceclemons.com/main.htm

    In October of 2009, the 67-year-old Clemons' memoir Big Man: Real Life & Tall Tales was released.

  • Career

    Clarence Clemons began playing in Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band in 1972. When not touring with Springsteen, Clemons has released a number of solo albums. He has also appeared on records by everyone from Jackson Browne ("You're a Friend of Mine") to Dave Koz.
