• Golden Globe award winning actress Claire Danes started acting in the early 1990s. She started appearing in television shows and lesser known movies. Danes got her big break in 1994 starring in the series My So Called Life. She played the role of Angela Chase which won her a Golden Globe award and nominated her for an Academy award. In 1996, Danes got the role of Juliet in the film adaptation Romeo + Juliet which also starred Leonardo DiCaprio.
