  • City Slickers 2 Plot

The film begins one year after the start of the first film, on Mitch's 40th birthday. Mitch finds a treasure map secreted in the hat of Curly, the cowboy who died in the first movie. The map sets him off on adventure with his friend Phil (Daniel Stern) and his brother Glen (Jon Lovitz). On their path to find the gold, they are set upon by robbers, then rescued by someone who looks exactly like the dead Curly, but who turns out to be Curly's long lost twin brother Duke (Jack Palance). The four band together to find the treasure, encountering humorous accidents along the way. A twist at the end brings back several familiar faces from the first film.
