City of Villains

City of Villains is an expansion pack based off of City of Heroes but can run without the CD. In City of Villains players can create their own villain and headquarters. Players can decide to play alone or play within a team.

The game takes place on Rogue Isles. At the beginning of the game, players have the option to customize their characters. Included in City of Villains are new outfits, accessories, body parts and heads. Players can also focus on specific areas such as makeup, shoulder width, chests, etc.GameSpot: City of Villains There are also five archetypes of villains players can choose from:

1. Brute - prefers close combat fighting
2. Stalker - can "hide" to increase damage they deal
3. Corrupter - prefers ranged attacks
4. Dominator - prevents enemies from moving and attacking
5. Mastermind - can summon minions of four types
   • Mercenaries
   • Ninjas
   • Zombies
   • Robots

Players can build up a base on the islands where they can resurrect if they die. There is an invention system where players can create better enhancements, inspirations and salvage. Players can choose to play mission mode or engage in PvP fights. Players accept missions through newspapers, brokers and car radios.GameSpot: City of Heroes Players can play both games for $15/month.
