The City Circle Tram is a free tourist tram, similar to a streetcar, that operates in the Central Business District of Melbourne, Australia. The City Circle Tram opened in 1994, replacing the City Circle rail service that formerly operated in the same area. Both the clockwise and counterclockwise City Circle Trams operate from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sundays through Wednesdays and from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
