Types of Training for Cirque du Soleil
Depending on the abilities of the candidate, training can be as short as a few days, or as long as a few months. Cirque du Soleil candidate training includes:
- Acrobatic Training - Candidates work with coaches to learn the types of acrobatic moves that are integral to Cirque performances. Trainers are also available to help candidates improve their physical conditioning.
- Performance Training - Cirque shows are performances, not just acrobatic expositions. Candidates are trained in acting and improvisation, as well as other performance techniques.
- Professional Skills Training - Candidates are also provided with professional skills training to assist them as they transition to their new career.
