She is the Chairwoman of Hensley & Co., the company founded in 1955 by her father, James Hensley, that serves as one of the nation's largest distributors of Anheuser-Busch products, including Budweiser beer.
Cindy McCain met her husband at a Hawaii cocktail party in 1979. They were married a year later. John McCain is 17 years her senior.
Cindy McCain spoke at the first day of the 2008 Republican Convention in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota on September 1, 2008.
