Attractions
There is so much to see and do in Cincinnati, ot would take days to do everything you wanted to. If you first want to catch a "breathtaking" view of the whole city, take a ride up to the 49th floor of the Carew Tower's observation deck. After, go on over for a taste of history at the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal. The building itself is classified as a National landmark and inside is three museums and an OMNIMAX theater. There really is no shortage of museums in the city, others include the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Cincinnati Fire Museum, Contemporary Arts Center, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and so many more.If it's some nature you're looking for, there are over 100 parks that visitors can stroll through and check out the various wildlife and habitat. Sawyer Point is one of the parks in Cincinnati that hosts a variety of concerts and festivals throughout the summer. The Ohio River is also accessible from here. Ault Park is more of an exercisers haven. With many trails, it's a great place for walking or biking.
Events
Like it's attractions, festivals are wide spread in the city also. The MidPoint Music Festival is held in September and is an annual showing of the best independent artist world-wide. Oktoberfest, a German festival, actually takes place at the end of September in Cincinnati. It's been called the "nation's largest, most authentic Oktoberfest," so really, why miss it? If you're looking for something a bit more family-oriented, check out the annual PNC Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo. It takes place around Christmas and showcases millions of lights and there are family activities such as ice sculptures, train rides around the zoo and even a meeting with Santa.Mahalo Suggests
