  • Cincinnati Chili is made much like traditional chili, only served over a bed of Spaghetti and topped with grated cheese. This type of chili is most associated with several chains in the Cincinnati area, the most common of which are Skyline Chili and Gold Star Chili. Both of these chains also sell frozen and canned chili in local grocery stores.

Chili served over spaghetti is typically ordered as a "three-way" with spaghetti, chili, and cheese, or as a "four-way" or "five-way", which adds beans and onions. The chili is also served on hot dogs and topped with shredded cheddar cheese and is known by native Cincinnatians as a cheese coney.
