"Go Girl" is the first singles to be released from Ciara's third studio album Fantasy Ride. The song features T-Pain who also produced the track. "Go Girl" was released as a digital download on September 30, 2008.
The music video for "Go Girl" was directed by Melina Matsoukas. It begins with Ciara dressed in a business suit dancing in an office with a group of dancers. Later in the video, she is dressed as a dominatrix performing the song solo. It premiered on October 7, 2008 on BET and Yahoo! It has been reported that Fantasy Ride will be a three-disc set. Each of the discs will feature a different genre of music.
