Chyna (real name: Joanie Laurer) is an ex-bodybuilder and former WWE wrestler. In 1999, she became the first woman to hold a men's title in the WWF after defeating Jeff Jarrett. Since leaving wrestling, she has become a frequent participant on reality television programs.
On December 27, 2008, Chyna was taken to the hospital after celebrating her birthday with friends. She reportedly was found passed out with cuts on her arms. She was held at the hospital for a psych evaluation.TMZ.com: Chyna taken to the hospital (December 27, 2008)
After Wrestling
After leaving professional wrestling in 2002, Chyna appeared in Playboy magazine and in a Playboy adult documentary. In 2005, she was a house mate on the VH1 reality show The Surreal Life. In 2008, Chyna was one of the celebrities treated for drug addiction on the show Celebrity Rehab.
