Chucky Atkins is a professional basketball player currently playing for the Detroit Pistons in the NBA.

Kenneth Lavon Atkins was born in Orlando, Florida, on August 14, 1974, and went on to attend Evans High School. He continued his education at the University of South Florida. He went to play in Europe for two seasons after going undrafted in college. Atkins was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Orlando Magic in 1999.

Atkins played in 40 games for the Pistons in the 2009 - 10 season. He averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 assists in 16.1 minutes per game.

His best game came against the Washington Wizards on January 12. Atkins scored 11 points to go along with 3 rebounds and 2 assists to help the Pistons along to a 99 to 90 win. He had a season-high 13 points against the New Orleans Hornets in a losing effort on December 16.
