Career
Chuck Liddell's first mix martial arts bout was in 1998 against Noe Hernandez. Skilled in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Liddell racked up a number of impressive wins with brutal strikes. In 2004, he gained a win over rival Tito Ortiz and over the next two years avenged a previous loss to Randy Couture with two victories. On December 29, 2007, Liddell defeated Wanderlei Silva in a unanimous decision at UFC 79.
