Chuck Dixon is an American comic book writer.
Career
Previously a writer for Eclipse Comics and Marvel in the 1980s, Chuck Dixon is perhaps known for his contributions to the Batman comics in the 1990s.
Dixon co-wrote the 1993-1994 "Knightfall" storyline where Bane breaks Batman's back, leaving the violent Jean-Paul Valley to don the costume. Spanning all Batman-related titles for nearly a year, "Knightfall" was the most ambitious Batman storyline at that time.
Dixon contributed to a similar Batman saga "No Man's Land" five years later.
He has since written for CrossGen and Bongo Comics, but has recently returned to DC, working on the Robin comics that he originally started in 1993.
