There is one new ending in Chrono Trigger DS. The original game had 12 endings, and this one will be added to the mix for the Nintendo DS port. Unlocking the ending requires players to complete specific tasks in certain ways during the game.RPGClassics.com: Chrono Trigger Endings
New Ending Info
Most of the endings in Chrono Trigger DS will be the same as the ones in the original game, but there's one exception. There's one new ending and one new boss in the DS version of the game. The main focus in this ending is on Magus. Players won't control Magus, but they will interact with him before and after the new boss battle.Without going into too much detail about the new boss, so spoilers aren't revealed, it's safe to say that it's a large beast with spikes sticking out of everywhere. It casts spells that will damage the entire group, and it'll also try top confuse everyone.
