This page contains a collection of cheats for Chrono Trigger on the Nintendo DS. Chrono Trigger is a classic RPG originally released for the Super NES, telling the story of a group of adventurers who must travel through time to save the world. While there are currently limited cheats available for Chrono Trigger on the DS, this page will be updated as soon as more becomes available.

One of the most substantial new features added in Chrono Trigger DS is an Arena Mode. In this multiplayer mode, the player can adopt and train monsters to fight. Winning battles earns you items which are rare and often cannot be found in the game proper. Arena Mode is accessed through the main menu of the game. When you first enter Arena Mode, you'll be given a starting monster (called a Smidge) and be prompted to choose its elemental affinity: fire, water, light or shadow. From there you can train your monster or have it participate in some battles. Battles are controlled by the computer, though you can command your monster to use a special item whenever you want. At the end of the fight, both monsters receive a prize, but the winner's reward is far superior.

Training your monster ties into the main game. You can send your monster into any of the eras of time that you have explored in the game, so the further you've progressed and the more places you've seen, the more options you have. Your monster will evolve and grow according to where you send it to train: if you send it to the future, it will grow into a robotic type of creature, but if you send it to prehistory it will evolve into a primitive primate.
