• On July 2, 2008, it was announced that a remake of Chrono Trigger remake would be released for the Nintendo DS. Initially, an enigmatic countdown site was launched, which featured only the Nintendo DS logo and a clock. It has since been confirmed that the DS port of the game will hit North American markets just in time for the holidays on November 25, 2008.
