About the Game
The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is a remake of the 2004 Xbox release Escape From Butcher Bay along with a new campaign and additional game modes. Escape from Butcher Bay was one in a long list of original Xbox games that will not work on the Xbox 360. But the game itself received so much critical acclaim and was so beloved by fans, that developer Starbreeze, who also developed The Darkness, decided to give it an HD coat of paint and re-release it as one elment in Assault on Dark Athena.In addition to the souped up version of Escape from Butcher Bay, Assault on Dark Athena also includes an additional campaign that takes place after the events of Escape from Butcher Bay and six multiplayer modes.1UP.com: Chronicles of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena Preview
The demo gives players a glimpse of the single-player story, but does not feature any of the multiplayer modes.
