Christmas Turkey

Christmas turkey is a popular entree for Christmas dinner. Filled with a variety of stuffing, it is usually the centerpiece at the Christmas table.

Ingredients

Directions

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. Remove the insides from the turkey and set aside. Combine diced turkey, pine nuts, walnuts, ham, chestnuts, brandy, wine, and eggs in a bowl. Add salt and pepper. Toss until the mixture is firm and then stuff it in the cavity of the turkey. Take a needle and kitchen string and sew the turkey closed. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cook it for three hours. Use an internal temperature thermometer in the thickest part of the bird and make sure it registers 190 degrees. Baste every half hour while cooking. Food Network: Christmas Turkey
