    Christmas lights can make photographing a decorated indoor Christmas tree a bit challenging at times. Depending on your objective, consider taking photos of the tree with and without flash. Each option will produce very different results. Without the flash, the tree's lights will be more pronounced; the effect may or may not be enough to illuminate the ornaments and other decorations. With the flash, you are more likely to see the overall detail of the decorations.
