Homemade Kitten Treat

  • One large can tuna fish in oil
  • Three Tbsps parsley, chopped
  • One cup grape nuts cereal, crushed

Thoroughly process tuna and parsley until it is smooth. Blend the grapenut cereal until fine. On wax paper, roll the tuna mixture into small balls. Dip the tuna balls in the crushed grape nut cereal, coating them well. Place on a cookie sheet that is prepared with cooking spray. Bake in a 350 degree oven until lightly browned (approximately eight minutes). Turn off the oven and cool it to 200 degrees. Allow moisture to leave the treats by drying them in the warm oven for a few additional hours. Refrigerate for up to a week.
