Actress Christina Applegate portrayed the role of the ditzy, promiscuous blonde "Kelly Bundy" on the long-running FOX sitcom Married... With Children. She also appeared in the ABC series Samantha Who?.
Applegate was featured on the cover of People Magazine's Most Beautiful issue in late April of 2009. Early Career
Applegate's career started when she was a baby in the soap opera Days of Our Lives and in a Playtex commercial at only five months old. In the 1980s, Applegate appeared in several films including Jaws of Satan, Grace Kelly and the comedy Washingtoon. She also guest starred in a number of popular shows, such as Family Ties and 21 Jump Street, but it was her role as the ditzy blonde Kelly Bundy on the series Married... With Children that lasted ten years and garnered her mainstream notoriety.Beyond the Screen
In addition to her many on-screen credits, Applegate also found herself on the stage starring in The Third Day with Gena Rowlands and making her Broadway debut in 2004 with the musical Sweet Charity which won her a Tony Award.
