The Amazing Race
- Season 14 of the Emmy Award-winning CBS reality show, The Amazing Race, kicked off with eleven teams beginning the race from the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, California. Each season the teams are provided with a limited amount of cash for each leg of the race and they are also given credit cards that can be used to purchase airline tickets. The teams are responsible for booking their own airline tickets and planing their routes to arrive at the next race location. At each destination they have to complete several tasks and challenges. When each set of tasks are completed the teams head to a pit-stop for a mandatory 12 hour rest period. Generally the last team to check in at the pit-stop is eliminated from the competition. The team that finishes the final leg of the race first, wins the one million dollar prize.CBS: The Amazing Race
