Dr. Christiane Northrup is an author and holistic practitioner.

Christiane Northrup was a practicing gynecologist for over twenty years before she wrote her first book in 1994 Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom. It was a success and launched Northrup's career as an author and public speaker. She went on to write a booka and star in a special about menopause entitled The Wisdom Of Menopause. Northrup is currently working on reprints of her previous books and is a frequent guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
