2009/10 Season

After joining the Canucks in the summer, Christian Ehrhoff has established himself as one of Vancouver's most reliable defensemen. Due to injuries to many of the Canucks top defensemen throughout the year, Ehrhoff was asked to take on added responsibility in his first year as a Canuck. He didn't disappoint. Ehrhoff set career highs with 14 goals and 44 points, and finished the year at plus 36, good for fifth best in the league (tied with team-mate Daniel Sedin. His ability to play as a top two defenseman for long stretches of the year helped the Canucks win 49 games and repeat as Northwest Division Champions.

Ehrhoff contributed 1 goal and 2 assists in the Canucks' first round series against the Los Angeles Kings in the 2010 NHL Playoffs, while helping them eliminate LA in six games.

2008/09 Season

The 2008/09 season was a major step up for Ehrhoff and his best season to date in the NHL. Playing in just his third full season, Ehrhoff managed 8 goals and 34 assists, for 42 points in 77 gameshttp://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/players/Christian_Ehrhoff/.

2007/08 Season

The 2007/08 season could be considered a disappointment for Ehrhoff. In 77 games, he was only able to score once, while adding 21 assists.

Ehrhoff's second full season in the NHL, the 2006/07 season really gave people a taste of what they could expect from Ehrhoff going forward. He appeared in all 82 games for the Sharks, and scored 33 points (10 goals, 23 assists).

Christian Ehrhoff has shown steady improvement at the NHL level. After managing to appear in only 41 games in the 2003/04 season, and spending the 2004/05 season with the Cleveland Barons of the AHL, Ehrhoff has become a regular at the NHL levelhttp://canucks.nhl.com/club/player.htm?id=8469555.
