On May 17, 2009, Christian defeated Jack Swagger for the ECW Championship belt on WWE's pay-per-view Judgment Day.

Reso debuted in the WWF in 1998 as Christian, playing the part of Edge's brother. Soon after, Edge and Christian became a tag team which feuded with the Hardy Boyz, among other teams. Eventually, Christian and Edge split and went into singles competition. Christian go on to form alliances with fellow Canadians Test and Lance Storm. Next was a tag team partnership with Chris Jericho. Christian again became a singles wrestler, dubbing himself "Captain Charisma." Christian's contract expired in 2005, and although he was offered to re-sign, Christian decided to leave the WWE. Christian signed with TNA shortly after leaving WWE, changing his name back to Christian Cage.Online World of Wrestling: Christian Cage
