Chris Weitz is an American film director and producer, best known for his direction of the Hugh Grant movie, About a Boy. Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood reported that Weitz is considering signing on for both Twilight sequels New Moon and Eclipse, if they're made. She said that Summit Entertainment liked the look of The Golden Compass.
