Professional football center Chris Spencer plays in the National Football League for the Seattle Seahawks. Spencer's 2008 season was cut short after he was placed on injured reserve by the Seahawks on December 4, with a back injury. Football Career
Prior to playing in the NFL, Spencer played college football with the Ole Miss Rebels in the NCAA. He started just 11 games over three seasons, all in his junior year. Despite his lack of playing time, Spencer was selected as an All-SEC in 2004.Official Site of the Seattle Seahawks: Chris SpencerFollowing his junior year in college, Spencer declared for the NFL draft and was selected in the first round, 26th overall in 2005 by the Seattle Seahawks. He joined the Seahawks in 2005 for his professional debut, playing in nine games during his rookie season.
