Chris Sligh

Chris Sligh is an American Alternative Rock musician. In 2007, his band Half Past Forever re-released their album on Brash Music. Sligh wrote or co-wrote all of the album's seventeen songs.

Sligh released his first solo album, Running Back to You, on May 6, 2008. His first single from the album, "Empty Me," was nominated for a Dove Award for "Song of the Year".

Chris Sligh was an American Idol contestant on season 6. Before auditioning for the show he was a part of the group Half Past Forever. According to AI rules though, he had to quit the band before taking part in the show. However, Sligh's vocals can be heard on the band's album.
