  • Brief Biography

The youngest child of seven, O'Donnell's first big break came when he appeared in a McDonald's commercial opposite Michael Jordan in the mid-1980s. In the early 1990s, the young actor appeared in several successful films, including Men Don't Leave, Scent of a Woman, and Circle of Friends. In 1995, he starred in the much-anticipated reimagination of the Batman film series, as the young Robin in Batman & Robin, and reprised his role in 1997's Batman Forever. However, both films were commercial failures, and O'Donnell only appeared in four films between 1997 and 2002. Between 1997 and 2007, O'Donnell fathered five children by wife Caroline Fentress. In recent years, he has begun appearing in more films, including as a researcher in 2004's biopic Kinsey.
