  • Canadian National Hockey League player Chris Kelly usually acts as the center on the Ottawa Senators' third line, between Chris Neil and Antoine Vermette. Since becoming a full time member of the Senators' roster in 2005, Kelly has proved his strong offensive and defensive skills and has become an integral part of Ottawa's penalty kill.
  • NHL Career

    Kelly was drafted by the Senators during the third round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut in the 2003-2004 season, during which he played four games.

    After the 2004-2005 locked-out season, Kelly was a regular fixture in the Senators' lineup. After recording a career high of 38 points in 82 games during the 2006-2007 season, Kelly signed on for another year with the Senators at a salary of $1.2 million. In July of 2008, he is set to become an unrestricted free agent.
