Christopher Zane Kaman, born April 28, 1982 is a German American center who plays on the Los Angeles Clippers. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Kaman stands 7 feet tall and weighs in at 265 pounds, his college career began at Central Michigan University. He was the first round, sixth draft pick for the 2003-2004 NBA draft pick. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers. Even with the set back of his hamstring injury in the 2006-2007 NBA year, from his rookie year, to his current seasons, his averages have improved. During the 2003-2004 year, he averaged 6.1 points per game and 5.6 rebounds, he was the only player to appear in all 82 games; from 2004-2005, Kaman averaged 9.1 points per game and 6.7 rebounds; 2005-2006, 11.9 points per game and 9.6 rebounds. In 2007, while recovering from his injury sustained in training camp, his points per game average was 10.1 with 7.8 rebounds.
In the 2007-2008 NBA season, he recovered, becoming one of the more dominant centers in the game with an average of 15.7 points per game and 12.7 rebounds.
