Chris Iannetta is a catcher for the Colorado Rockies. After attending St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket, RI, Iannetta went on to star at the University of North Carolina. Following his collegiate career, the Rockies selected Iannetta in the 4th round of the 2004 draft.tta Originally drafted in 2004 by the Rockies, he made his MLB debut in 2006. After two years as a minor league prospect, Iannetta made his major league debut on August 27, 2006.
