  • NHL Career

    Campoli began his hockey career with the Erie Otters in the Ontario Hockey League in 2001. He was named captain of the team during the 2003-2004 season. He was drafted 227th overall in the 2004 NHL draft by the New York Islanders. He was assigned to the Islanders' American Hockey League affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, and made the AHL All-Rookie team that same year. Campoli made his professional debut with the Islanders in 2005. Campoli played his 100th career NHL game on February 1, 2007. He missed the last 36 games of the 2007-08 season after a shoulder injury required surgery.
