Chris Brown was scheduled at the 2009 Grammy Awards on February 8 in Los Angeles, California, however pulled out shortly before the show. Brown also received nominations for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for his song "No Air" featuring Jordin Sparks and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for his song "Take You Down."
