The first single off Chris Brown's album, Exclusive: Forever Edition, the "Forever" video debuted at number six on TRL. It also reached the number one position on the MTV Online Charts, beating out Madonna's "Four Minutes" and Usher's "Love In This Club" videos.

Filmed in Los Angeles, California, the shoot was directed by Joseph Kahn. The premiere occurred on the MTV show, TRL, on May 1, 2008, and on the BET show, 106 & Park, on May 5, 2008.

"The video is a little 'meh', while the choreography is on-point as ever, it feels forced, like they didn't really know what they were going for.
