In March of 2009, Bosh, in cooperation with Nissan, began a YouTube Slam Dunk contest, looking for "the best dunker on YouTube." Christopher Wesson Bosh was born in Dallas, Texas, on March 24, 1984. He attended high school at Lincoln in Texas and continued his education at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He played one season with the Yellow Jackets basketball team before declaring himself eligible for the NBA draft. In his first season with the Raptors, Bosh averaged 11.5 points and 7.4 rebounds in 75 games. He was named to his first All-Star team in 2006.
