Chris Bachalo is an American comic book artist.
Career
After working on DC's Shade, the Changing Man, Chris Bachalo established himself as an artist after penciling Death: The High Cost of Living in 1993. The miniseries, which was a spin-off of the popular Sandman comics, was voted "Favorite Limited Series" by the Comic Buyer's Guide.CBGxtra.com: CBG Fan Awards Archives
At Marvel, Bachalo drew for X-Men Unlimited and co-created the Generation X series with writer Scott Lobdell. He has also sketched issues of Uncanny X-Men, Ultimate X-Men, and New X-Men.
For Wildstorm Comics, Bachalo and writer Joe Kelly worked on the short-lived science fiction Steampunk series.
Bachalo continues to produce work mainly for Marvel. In 2008, Bachalo contributed artwork to The Amazing Spider-Man storyline "Brand New Day."
