Chopsticks are small hand sized sticks used as eating utensils. The use of Chopsticks are popular in Asian Countries, and the serving of Asian food.

Chopsticks are thought to have originated in Ancient China during the Shang Dynasty. The popularity of the utensil is felt mostly in Asian Countries where it is used as the primary utensil instead of the popular Western civilization utensils the Fork and Spoon.

All Chopsticks are not created equal. In fact different cultures use Chopsticks different ways, and thus design the chopsticks accordingly. For instance Chinese Chopsticks are traditionally longer with a blunt tip. While Japanese Chopsticks are shorter with a sharper end which is used almost like a knife or fork. It is important to consider durability and practicality of the utensil since it is an acquired skill to use them.
