Chip Kelly is in his 2nd year as head coach of the Oregon Ducks football team. Overall, Kelly has been at the Pac 10 Conference school for four seasons. Kelly graduated from the University of New Hampshire, majoring in physical education. He began his coaching career a few months later at Columbia University and stayed there for two years before returning to the New Hampshire Wildcats in 1992 as an assistant on offense. He also coached the running backs and the offensive line in the early part of his career at New Hampshire. During the 2005 season, New Hampshire averaged nearly 42 points per game. The 2008 Oregon offense also averaged nearly 42 points a game, including 65 against arch-rival Oregon State. Oregon's 2009 season, Kelly's inaugural campaign as head coach, not only saw offensive success, but total team success, as well.
