  • After years of anticipation, Guns N' Roses' new album Chinese Democracy was finally released on November 23, 2008. The album, which has been 14 years in the making, is the group's sixth studio album and the follow-up to the 1993 covers album The Spaghetti Incident?.     Reports of the album's musical content have varied over the years, due perhaps to Rose's ongoing revisions of songs. In the late '90s, it was reported that the album would contain industrial rock in the vein of Nine Inch Nails, though Rose stated that the album would have a Queen influence as well.
