May 23, 2008: China and Russia have signed a historic nuclear power agreement between the two nations.
Chinese President Hu Jintao and Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev inked the deal in the Great Hall of The People, located in Beijing.
Over the next 10 years, Russia will be building uranium enrichment facilities in China, as well as supplying China with uranium for their nuclear power industry.

Issues and Conflict
Both China and Russia have denounced the U.S. plans for a global missile defense system. They have warned against using space weapons as well.Another area of concern for the two countries is aggression towards Iran. Both countries have called for the use of peaceful methods from other countries in dealing with any conflicts with Iran.
