Four American Christians had 315 bibles confiscated when arriving to the Chinese city Kunming on August 17, 2008. Chinese law only allows visitors to the country to bring religious items for personal use. The Christians said they would not leave the airport until the bibles were returned and staged a 26-hour sit-in.
