Chimaira is a metal band made up of Mark Hunter, Matt DeVries, Rob Arnold, Jim LaMarca, Andols Herrick and Chris Spicuzza. Since the band first formed they have also had six former members leave for a variety of reasons.
The band released their first studio album, Pass Out Of Existence, in 2001. Their follow-up album, The Impossibility of Reason, was released in 2003. It reached number one on the US Top Heatseakers chart. Their self-titled album was released in 2005 and reached number 74 on the US charts while their 2007 release reached number 20.
Their singles include "SP Lit," "Let Go," "Down Again," "Pure Hatred," "Power Trip," "Nothing Remains," "Save Ourselves" and "Resurrection."
