Chili's restaurant, also known Chilis Bar & Grill, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Brinker International, who also own Romano's Macaroni Grill, On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina and Maggiano's Little Italy.

Chilis Bar and Grill Chicken Fajitas
A vintage Chili's commercial is set on a Sunday afternoon, where P.C. is teaching grandpa about Chilis famous fajitas at Chilis Bar and Grill. He tells him that the chicken fajitas are very user friendly and the grandpa tells him they look pretty friendly to him. The kid has designed a whole "program". He is showing the grandpa how to assemble the fajitas and calls the tortilla a floppy disk and the chicken the keydown. His grandpa plays along, and states that it used to be called chicken. After they assemble the fajitas, the boy describes eating them as the "interface."
Chili's History
In 1975 the founder, Larry Levine, opened the first Chili's Bar & Grill restaurant in Dallas, Texas. In 1983, Norman Brinker took over the Chili's restaurant chain. In 1991 Chili's was renamed Brinker International, Inc. In 2007 the largest franchise transaction in Brinker history was made with Pepper Dining, acquiring 89 company-owned Chili's Bar & Grill restaurants. Chili's, a leader in bar and grill foods, offer Big Mouth Burgers and Bites, smoked Baby-Back Ribs, battered Chicken Crispers, Fajitas, Chilli, and their Triple Dipper Appetizer on their menu.
