A child safety gate prevents a child from entering dangerous areas of the home, but allows adults to pass through. The gate may be removable or attached to a wall. There are a number of different types available, including wooden, plastic, clear panels that allow the child to see through, accordion-style or solid panels that move. They are primarily used in doorways but are also available to create a large play area for children to play in without getting into dangerous areas.
Safety Warning
Although a child safety gate keeps children from getting into dangerous areas of the house, they should not be left unattended. Children may climb over the gates or cause the gate to fall, allowing them to get injured. Please supervise children at all times to ensure they are safe.
