Brief Bio
A native of Taiwan, the Yankees signed Wang as an amateur free agent in 2000. Wang made his major league debut with the Yankees in 2005, pitching 7 strong innings and surrendering just 2 runs in a Yankees win against the Toronto Blue Jays. Wang would go 8-5 in his first season in the majors. Wang won 19 games in 2006 and again in 2007.
