Featuring two exiles from Van Halen, Chickenfoot is a rock/metal supergroup whose musical pomp harks back as much to the 1980s as its lineup. The band includes singer Sammy Hagar and bassist Michael Anthony (both ex-Van Halen), technical guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani and former Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
