- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1 cup of milk (cream or buttermilk can be used)
- Italian seasonedbread crumbs
- Olive Oil
- 32 ounce jar ready made spaghetti sauce
- grated Mozzarella cheese
- 4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Tenderize chicken breast by beating with a cooks mallet between 2 pieces of plastic wrap until flattened.
- Mix beaten egg and milk.
- Dip chicken into egg-milk mixture.
- Then dip into bread crumbs, make sure both sides are coated.
- Fry chicken in oil for approximately 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Remove from pan.
- Place fried chicken breast in a baking pan.
- Cover chicken with spaghetti sauce.
- Cover pan with foil.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Remove foil and sprinkle with cheese.
- Return to oven and bake uncovered until cheese is melted.
- Serve with French bread.
